This year, Rahu ketu transit takes place on wednesday, the 9th April 2008( based on Vaakya panchang) at 8.29 Am (IST). According to ephemeris the transit takes place on 02nd May 08. Rahu transit from Kumbh rasi to Makara rasi while Ketu transit from Simha rasi to Kataka rasi.
Rahu and Ketu are known as shadow planets.
